Dawn Stahura
For what it’s worth
You are priced at $1,000
a trencher I never knew you
to use
parked in the pole barn.
You are being sold in the
paper, a $3,000 tractor red
used to plow
a pathway out of snow.
Someone will haul it off
turn the key somewhere
far away from
an idea of a home.
You will be talked down to
a $200 Chevy LUV truck, baby
blue, diesel, hell of a stick
grinded into third gear.
You become motorcycle pieces
stray parts at $100
a lot scavenged
an amen savior frame.
